Visitors Visa or Electronic Travel Authorization - Come as a tourist
To visit Canada, you need to obtain a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV), unless you are from a visa exempt country, in that case you need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). TRV is a document issued by a Canadian Immigration Visa Office outside of Canada that allows foreigners to enter Canada. Generally, tourists are admitted for a period of six months, however, a Canadian Port of Entry officer, may restrict the entry of a tourist after an examination. Extensions may be applied for from inside Canada.

Business visitors are individuals who plan to visit Canada temporarily to look for new business opportunities, to invest or to advance existing business relationships. This category facilitates entry for foreigners who engage in business activities without a work permit, but they are not allow to enter the Canadian Labour Market.
